Basic Qualifications:
-Self-motivated and highly focused developer that will perform activities related to Windows and Web application software development, including but not limited to: planning, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, prototyping, and documentation.
-Knowledge and/or experience in the following concepts: Class diagrams, Use cases, ERD, UML, Object Oriented Design, Software Engineering methodology, and Relational Database
-Experience with the following: C#, HTML, XML, ASP.NET, VBScript, JavaScript, AJAX, Web Services, CMD, Batch, CSS, T-SQL, Stored Procedure, ETL, and Analysis Services
Preferred Qualifications in addition to Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science
-5+ years of experience in systems analysis and application software development
-Experience working with Symantec Client Management Suite and Remedy Web Services
Job Responsibilities:
Develop logic, codes, tests, and debug windows and web applications. Perform software coding, testing, debugging, documentation and installation tasks for online process in accordance with industry best practices and specific internal procedures and standards. Contribute task identification, work effort estimates, and work schedules for development and maintenance activities. Participate in the analysis and definition of efficient, cost effective application solutions which support client business processes and functional requirements. Work with internal departments to provide associated deliverables required for the successful completion of development and maintenance assignments (eg, database development, network support, help desk orientation, client training). Work as project team member to develop application software for business users. Partners with other departments to test and move developed applications into production. Perform related duties as assigned and requested. Consistently supports compliance and the Principles of Responsibility (Code of Conduct) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements (if applicable), and policies and procedures.
