My client a well known managed service company are looking for several developers with experience in DB2, IMS & CICS technologies.
Ideally we are seeking candidates who have strong IMS & DB2 skills together. However the client will look at candidates who only have experience with IMS or DB2.
They are also seeking a Systems Progammer with strong CICS experience.
The Key Responsiblities for these roles are:
DB2 Sysprog
- Analysis and identification of target systems/environments
- Build DB2 Data Sharing Groups
- Identify batch job interface changes and support application teams to make changes
- Provide technical guidance to application support teams
- Perform testing and provide DB2 technical support
IMS Sysprog
- Set up of Common Shared Layer to enable IMS data sharing
- Configure FDBR backout/recovery procedures and other IMS housekeeping jobs
- Identify batch job interface changes and support application teams to make changes
- Perform testing and provide IMS technical support
CICS Sysprog
- Design CICSSPlex configuration
- End to end review of CICS Menu operation
- Set up additional CICS regions as identified in design
- Configure CICSPlex/SM
- Configure VSAM RLS
- Run CICS Affinities tools
- Support Application support teams
- Perform testing and provide CICS technical support
