Senior Lync Voice SME - Banking - London
Etonwood are currently assisting a global Tier 1 Investment Bank in their search for a Senior Lync Voice Engineer. This individual will be responsible for the design, deployment and support of their core Lync Voice and Server. Working within an engineering function this individual will be responsible for Lync Server, Lync client, Lync Voice, Lync deployment and Lync monitoring. You must have experience of the following:
- Extensive experience working in large financial services IT environments
- Extensive experience working with PBX environments in large IT environments
- Extensive experience working with OCS, Lync full voice and video integration
- Knowledge of enterprise WAN concepts, load balancing and hardware components
- Extensive experience working in highly regulated environments
- Strong experience with Avaya Session manager, Avaya IP telephony and Avaya contact center
- Strong experience with Session border controllers
- Certification a plus: MCSE, MCTIP, Lync voice certified
- PowerShell and Scripting experience
- Strong experience in SIP, SIP trunk integration, gateways and H.323
- Strong experience with Voice MPLS networks
- Candidate will need to be extremely detailed oriented, with excellent prioritization skills. This candidate will need to have prior experience with large scale design and deployment.
- Strong background in networking protocols (SIP, TCP, DNS, Nimbus, Proxies)
- Experience with Open source PBX solutions
- Experience with Exchange UM integration or prior Avaya voicemail integration
- Experience with turrets, Nice recording, private lines
- Actiance Vantage experience a plus
