I am currently recruiting for a Message broker administrator for a banking client near London.As a message broker administrator you will need to be able to deliver highly complex infrastructure for systems and processes in various message broker environments.
The successful message broker administrator will need to have experience in migrating from V6 to V7 and have the following skills:
-IBM Websphere Message Broker v6 and later administration (essential)
-IBM Websphere Message Broker v6 and later development skills (highly desirable)
-IBM Websphere Message Queue v6 and later Administration (essential)
-Database skills are required and may be either Oracle v10g and later (highly desirable) or DB2 (desirable)
-Overview knowledge of AIX and Linux operating systems (essential).
-Overview knowledge of mainframe (desirable).
-Kowledge of ClearQuest and ClearCase are used for deployment and workflow management, knowledge of these is desirable.
Moreover, the successful candidate will have Experience of technical and operational processes used to deploy, support and maintain a Message Broker environment.Diagnostic skills and an ability to analyse technical information from multiple sources, allowing the provision of highly effective solutions in complex environments that show Strong quality and service focus, Experience in delivering complex projects and / or incident recoverie, Experience of operating in a service delivery environment with good understanding of frameworks and processes, Proven systematic and analytical approach to problem solving with the ability to implement effective business solutions.
