Position Type: 12M+/Long-Term Contract
Hourly/Salary: BOE!
Local Travel: This position is required to be at client sites in the Dallas area daily.
National Travel: 25%
Educational Requirements: Bachelors Degree (STRONGLY preferred, but not required)
ABOUT THE POSITION
GTN Technical Staffing is currently seeking a Functional SharePoint (Super-User) Project Manager for a 12M+ Long-Term Contract opportunity in Plano, TX. The perfect candidate will possess both SharePoint and Project Server experience, but Project Server is not required and any candidates who do not possess Project Server experience, will be trained thoroughly. The Functional SharePoint (Super-User) Project Manager will develop and support requirements as outlined in Service Level Agreement (SLA) with customer. The Functional SharePoint (Super-User) Project Manager will setup and manage permissions (including users, groups, and categories, etc.). The Functional SharePoint (Super-User) Project Manager will provide user-level training and system demos. The Functional SharePoint (Super-User) Project Manager will provide unified project and stakeholder portfolio schedule management. The Functional SharePoint (Super-User) Project Manager will monitor critical chain of resources; especially those resources (eg, deliverables, taskers, milestones, and reviews) shared among multiple projects, which must be proactively managed. The Functional SharePoint (Super-User) Project Manager will develop appropriate views, custom fields; custom reports; create calendars, and templates to meet client needs. The Functional SharePoint (Super-User) Project Manager will provide support for application user access and develop helpdesk scripts for support and coordinate additional support requirements, support for users of Project Sites (SharePoint sites) and provide input to SharePoint engineers on system configuration and requirements. The Functional SharePoint (Super-User) Project Manager will manage the Enterprise Resource Pool in accordance with customer direction.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
4+ years of experience in the following skill sets
- Senior Project Management
- End-User/User-Level Training
- Assist with Systems Set-Up/Training Additional PMs
- Design/Create/Execute User-Level Training/Systems Demos
- Manage Multiple Complex Projects Simultaneously
- Leverage Multiple Project Management Lifecycle Approaches
- MS Project Pro - Managing Scheduled/Timeframes/Budgets, etc.
- Integrate Schedules
- Structured Scheduling
- Work Breakdown Structures
- Timelines/Deadlines/Projected Timelines, etc.
- Business Analysis/End-User Interfacing
- Interface with Internal/External End-Users
- Gather Functional/Technical Requirements from End-Users
- Develop/Create Requirements Specifications/Documentation
- Create Process Documents/Documentation
- SharePoint SRTONGLY preferred) - Functional/Super-User
- List Creation/Custom Lists - Define Fields/Field Tips/Views, etc.
- Security Group Management
- Support Users of Project Sites/SharePoint Sites
- Provide Input on Potential Necessary Configurations
- Creating Lists/Updating WebParts, etc.
