Senior Development Geologist with Geomechanics
London or Aberdeen

The Role:

Development Geologist required to provide consulting services working on integrated subsurface projects!
You must have a wide range of geological concept definition and geomodelling experience in most reservoir types in most major hydrocarbon provinces around the world.

Requirements

  • Between 4-20 Years experience
  • Advanced skills in Geomodeling
  • Structural modeling, petrophysical modeling and uncertainty analysis.
  • Field Development
  • Reservoir characterisation of carbonate & clastic reservoirs
  • Generation of thickness maps, well intersections and flooding maps
  • Use of seismic attributes for identification of structural and Stratigraphic features, integration with 3D and 4D seismic data


Very nice to have:

Fractured reservoirs & Geomechanics

Extensive experience in fractured reservoir characterisation and modelling consultancy and training (Petrel, FracMan).
Construction of implicit and explicit fractured reservoir concepts and models in sandstones and carbonates.
Evaluation of geomechanical issues in reservoirs including scoping of wellbore stability jobs, specifying core testing programs, analysing stress data and assessing impact of geomechanics on production / injection performance.

Up to £150k (Bonus, Car, Health, Pension, Training Budget)
You can be based out of the Satellite London Office or the Aberdeen HQ
