Certes have been instructed to recruit for an SC cleared Tester to join our Public Sector client in Taunton on an initial 6 month contract.
Skills/experience required
*ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing
*Experience in implementing test plans on significant projects/software developments.
*Provide evidence of requirement analysis to assess test coverage, extract test design and develop test scripts.
*A strong track record of successful test execution phases at various stages in the development life cycle, with supporting defect management skills.
*A high standard of written and oral communication is required to document testing adequately in a clear, accurate and concise manner. Communication of technical information must be adapted to audiences with a variety of understanding and may be expected to report the status of testing to senior management at times.
*Excellent planning and organisational skills to enable multi-tasking and delivery of objectives.
*Evidence of collaborating with non-testing business colleagues to facilitate user acceptance testing.
*Show examples of being proactive in removing or avoiding barriers to progress.
Desirable experience:
* Experience using Microsoft Test Manager 2010 for software test management (and TFS).
* Experience in managing acceptance of third party software developed externally.
* Experience of testing in major corporate infrastructure projects
