Position Description: Sr. Web Developer will maintain and write new apps.
Qualifications:
- at least 5+ years of work experience in general web application development
- 3+ years with Front End development
- strong command of semantic markup
- advanced CSS (strong grasp of floats, positioning, box model, image sprites, CSS hacks, browser compatibility)
- advanced Javascript (including DOM, object-oriented Javascript, Ajax, JSON)
- excellent grasp of Web Standards and why we should develop for them
- advanced, event-driven Javascript (subscribers, listeners, event bubbling, etc.)
- jQuery
Preferred Skills (bonus if you have these):
- Experience with JSP/JSTL -NodeJS/Express
- experience with high performance web page optimization techniques (edge serving, minimize HTTP connections, etc.)
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop
- Strong understanding of Client Server code integration, including best practices in what functionality should run where
- Familiarity with a web framework such as Backbone or Angular
- Flash/ActionScript 3.0
