We have immediate openings for Server-Side Developers that can help take an application from design to reality. The successful candidate combines a strong focus on product quality with the ability to work efficiently to deliver on schedule.
We are happy to accept both local candidates in Austin and remote candidates.Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience developing large-scale web-based applications and APIs
- J2EE, including Servlets, JSP, Spring Framework, etc.
- Building asynchronous and distributed systems with JMS, AMQP, etc.
- Modeling and persisting data to both relational and NoSQL databases
- Managing database schemas with tools like Liquibase
- Actor-based concurrency frameworks such as Scala Actors and/or Akka
- Building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Build and dependency management systems such as Maven and/or Gradle
- Experience and expertise with relational databases
- NoSQL databases and web services is a must
- Robust knowledge of HTTP
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Experience building asynchronous and distributed systems with JMS, AMQP, etc.
- Experience managing database schemas with tools like Liquibase
