Contracts Manager (account manager) Based in Surrey for a fast-growing Healthcare Services Provider, up to £40K

We are working with a ambitious and fast-growing company with a new and exciting role within Contracts Management/Account Management. The client is an innovative, service-driven European enterprise for the improvement of patient services.

The Contracts Manager will work closely with the Clinical Service Lead and the Clinical & Marketing Manager to maximise all commercial aspects of existing contracts.

We are ideally looking for an individual from an account management of contracts management background, will have well-developed business acumen, ability to influence senior figures and strong negotiation skills.

The Role

You will be responsible for hitting revenue through existing contracts

Be responsible for all financial and contractual matters

You will also be responsible for realising the financial potential of contract through driving appropriate service levels

Be a key Point of contact for NHS customer and other external stakeholders

Support the Clinical Service Lead to maintain existing and develop new relationships with key opinion leaders in the therapeutic areas

Be responsible for maximizing customer value/satisfaction by aligning complex service solutions with key customer needs. Builds and maintains relationship with key decision makers or potential influencers, for instance patient groups

Support the development of new business initiatives

Support the creation of business plans, tender bids and the yearly budget

The Person

The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in Pharmaceutical, Medical devices or Healthcare services within either a accounts management or contracts management type role.

The ideal person will have:
  • Track record of managing NHS customers/accounts successfully
  • Passion for high quality and precise work
  • Demonstrated leadership skills (both internally and externally)
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Well-developed business acumen
  • Contracts bidding / tenders
  • Negotiation skills
  • Excellent organisational skills including planning and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrable competence with Microsoft packages (e.g. Excel)
