Overview: Computer Futures are currently seeking 3x Qlikview developers to join an innovative organisation with offices in Bristol. Successful candidates will be joining a growing team within the business. Your position will expose you to a variety of aspects of the business, not just the technical, through communication with both internal and external clients and stakeholders.
The Role:
- Congregate Business Intelligence requirements, liaising with both internal and external clients, and presenting back your findings and recommendations
- Ensure the data quality, liaising with database development team and the QA team
- Project management when concerning Qikview elements, engaging with clients and continuously communicating with them during the iterative development process to ensure the success of a project
- Knowledge communication with colleagues with regard to Qlikview in view of creating, achieving and maintaining optimum BI solutions
- Aid the sales process by delivering 'proof is in the pudding' demonstrations to external/internal customers. Demonstrations will include how Qlikview tackles MI and BI challenges
- You will achieve Qlikview Designer and Developer Certification
Qualifications/Experience
Essential:
- SQL/T-SQL - Stored Procedures are essential
- Experience in the technical development of Business Intelligence technologies such as Tableau, Spotfire, SSRS or other similar BI tools such as Microstrategy, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Birst
- Diverse communication skills - The ability to liaise with clients at a senior level in order to gauge their business aims, goals and requirements. Also to communicate a variety of technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Desirable:
- A degree qualification or a similar level of qualification/experience in a related discipline.
- Previous professional exposure to Qlikview would be very advantageous
