Description
The role will involve reporting to the Assistant Head of Design and Chief Strcutural Engineer.You will define design methodology and provide design solutions that satisfy cost factors and best practice. You will design these through to production.
As well as liasing with internal stakeholders, external suppliers and customers, preparing technical proposals and quotations as well as checking over drawings and CAD models and Change Notes Technical Direction of Design Engineers and sub-contractors.
When required to take on leadership for the project, you will also be responsible for:
Design file management
Project resource management
Project schedule appearance
Project budget management
Which will also involve providing monthly reports, technical query management and holding design reviews.
