Role Summary - Release Engineer
Release Engineer with a proven track record in all aspects of Software Configuration Management/Release Management to support build and deployment activities in a fast growing organization. You will be responsible for version control, defect tracking, build/deployment and to provide environment support.
You will be using the latest tools, technologies and architectures to deliver state of the art software. You will be responsible for working with development teams, Global Release Management, support teams, various stakeholders in Technology, Business, and Operations to produce and deliver quality/repeatable builds in accordance with our Global Release Management procedures.
Key Responsibilities and skills:
- Maintains the build environment, the version control system, continuous Integration, defect tracking, collaboration and other supporting tools
- Execute and troubleshoot builds while communicating the status to the relevant stakeholders
- Deploys applications and maintain the shared infrastructure
- Identifies, document and implements automation scripts and procedures to streamline the build process
- Provide support on the various technologies in use

- Configuration and Change management practices
- Linux and Windows OSs
- Apache, JBoss, Tomcat
- Oracle Weblogic, Service Bus (OSB)
- Subversion, GIT, Mercurial, Maven, Ant, Rally, Quality Centre, Bamboo,Hudson/Jenkins
