Description:
- At least 2-3 additional years of experience in a financial position
- The contractor will support engineering financial and planning activities for an O&G P&L Engineering organization.
- He or She will interact on a daily basis with the different engineering finance and operation teams owning the consolidation and the analysis of the different financial inputs.
- Should be Financial Analyst with advanced Excel skills
- Experience as financial analyst or financial planner (banking industry experience is okay)
- Ensures best-estimate for planning purposes by modelling various scenarios.
- Generates and enhances routine reports or processes that meet client business needs by conducting thorough needs assessment with business stakeholders.
- Thoroughly analyzes data for reasonableness & reviews variances by considering sources, current business activities and historical trends prior to releasing information to business stakeholders.
- Complies with necessary regulations in the reporting process using knowledge of applicable Statutory and GAAP reporting requirements.
- Supports planning cycle by obtaining relevant data from resources in Finance and other applicable functions.
- Flexibly and knowledgeably responds to client ad-hoc requests for customized data and reports.
- Responsible for the different engineering functional base costs and headcount analysis.
- Ensures timely reporting of Engineering P&E investments and related depreciation.
