Description
Our ApproachResources Global Professionals (RGP) is looking to support our customer – an internationally financial services group, in the optimization of its business intelligence landscape in Germany and therefore is looking to contract an ETL Consultant to be part of this challenging initiative.
The Project:
The customer has already some Business Intelligence systems and tools in use, including Qlikview, Cognos and Hyperion and now needs to optimize this heterogeneous architecture as some of the systems needs an upgrade of existing capabilities.
For this project we are looking for an all-round ETL expert with proven experience in the construction or development of BI systems architectures to accompany and team-up with the Project Lead in the implementation of the proposed target environment.
The Person will ensure accuracy & integrity of data & applications through analysis, coding, writing clear documentation & problem resolution. Analyze & translate functional specifications & change requests into technical specifications. Design, implement, evaluate and execute unit tests.
Key Requirements:
• Prior Enterprise Data Warehouse experience is a must to be considered a candidate for this role
• Experience with relational and dimensional Data Modelling
• In-depth knowledge of MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS
• In-depth knowledge of Cognos Data manager
• Used to work in smaller environments
• Excellent Interdependent partnering skills
• Independent working style
• Advanced business German and English language skills. Please note that German is considered to be first language for this project.
Project Starting Date: End of March, 2014
Project Duration: 40 weeks
