Production Manager - £30,000 - £35,000 plus benefitsBased in York
An SME who have tripled in size in the last 2 years need a Production Manager to join their exciting company to assist in the transfer of new products/processes, plan, supervise and control manufacturing activities, ensuring that customer demand is met, whilst reducing manufacturing costs.
Skill/Experience Required:
- Adhere to all aspects of the Company Quality System in the completion of their duties.
- Responsible for all aspects of managing the production staff in line with company policies and goals.
- Ensure a high standard of occupational health and safety in the workplace (all relevant H&S and COSHH requirements must be met), and maintain good manufacturing practices and housekeeping.
- Create, manage and motivate an effective team through training, coaching and performance management in order to improve business performance, as well as maintaining good industrial relations and ensuring the team meets its principal accountabilities.
- Manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) ensuring effective planning and control of the raw material and component supply schedules, to meet the business plans.
- Production to meet the demands and requirements of US GMP for FDA approved products.
- Liaise with relevant departments on the transfer of new products into manufacturing and ensure that all appropriate specifications are available.
