ILW Program Projects Quality Assurance EngineerThe role of the Projects QAE is:
To provide expert advice, guidance and support to Project Managers, Team Members and Internal and External Customers/Stakeholders with regard to all matters relating to Project Quality Assurance (QA). Assist in the development, implementation and review of the arrangements for Project Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with Regulatory and Company requirements in line with the ILW Programme.
Deliverables
- Co-ordinate the implementation of the quality aspects of ILW retrievals projects and work programmes
- Provide expert level advice and active support with regard to the planning, creation and management of ILW package records
Liaison with disposability officers on Letter of Compliance requirements - Provide expert level advice and active support with the creation and adherence to quality plans, functional/technical specifications and other project control documentation
- Monitor compliance with company/site standards and take action as appropriate to achieve improvement
- Provide technical expertise, advice, guidance and support to develop QA
Contribute to the development of quality strategies and objectives aligned the ILW Program - Provide expert level advice and active support with regard to the supplier tendering and assessment process
- Conducting initial audits/evaluations on contractors/suppliers and carry out ongoing supplier surveillances/FAT's etc.
- Support project test and development as well as active and inactive commissioning activities
- Assist with the maintenance of the required regulatory approvals as appropriate
- Assist with supporting the program implementation of QA arrangements
- Provide expert-level advice, support and guidance on quality issues throughout the site
- Provide liaison between the programme organisation and the EHSSQ department
