Operations Director - Wiltshire - £55-75k

Computer Futures are currently working with a key client, seeking an Operations Director to join their head office in Swindon, Wiltshire.

Key responsibilities

* Responsible for the day to day operations and service delivery within the UK

* Work closely with Account Management and Service Management to understand workload forecasts and ensure resources are in place to deliver planned workloads

* Ensure UK delivery resource and processes are scalable and deliver unit cost reductions as volumes increase

* Work closely with Account Management, Finance and Product Management to move to more standardised offerings to customers, and provide necessary support to develop accurate unit costs of delivery and differential pricing to help maintain and improve margins

* Improve the use of automation, and improve productivity across all teams

* Ensure service delivery is achieved within budget and in line with SLAs

* Introduce a culture of "right first time, every time", and a strong continuous improvement methodology

* Ensure all systems in use across Service Delivery are being used effectively, data is accurate and up to date, and staff are trained in their use

* Support resolution of delivery issues in a timely manner in conjunction with Service Management

* Drive efficiency and continuous improvement and optimise delivery within the UK using industry standard process methodology (eg Six Sigma, Lean)

* Undertake effective performance management of direct reports and provide coaching and training to develop a stronger Tier 2 management capability

* Introduce performance management of staff into all teams

* Ensure processes are in place to record and monitor against all KPIs

* Maintain an effective DR/BCP strategy in line with the agreed contractual commitment to Clients

* Ensure all operational processes are documented to an agreed standard and maintained

* Preparation of budgets for all UK service Delivery departments.

These positions are paying between £55,000 - £75,000 and come with an excellent benefits package.
