Quality and HSE Manager is located in Drammen and reports to General Manager and manages the quality department including quality control. QHSE Manager supervises NDT (Non-destructive testing) personnel and Quality engineers as of today consist of 4 associates.

The quality control department responsibilities include:
  • Dimensional inspection with CNC controlled measuring machine and manually measuring tools.
  • Inspection of incoming raw materials and finished goods.
  • Material testing like nondestructive testing with magnetic particle, penetrant ferrite testing and positive material identification.


A major area of responsibility for the quality control department would also be quality control of subcontractor documentation and have good expertise in material knowledge.

Job duties:
  • The primary responsibility for quality and safety.
  • Ensure that the company quality and HSE systems are adapted and updated according to existing work processes.
  • Adapt and develop quality and safety systems in accordance with guidelines from the international organisation.
  • Perform internal and external quality and HSE audits.
  • Manage the quality department in day to day business.
  • Manager for the associates in the department.


Qualifications:
  • Background in quality and HSE work, experienced ISO certification 9001 would be preferred.
  • Engineering background / technical background, preferably in materials engineering or mechanical engineering.
  • Good user knowledge of Microsoft's office package.
  • Very good English skills, both oral and written.
  • Good leadership skills.
  • Preferably experience from an international working environment.
