for a Senior Business Analyst (f/m) in the Security Area


Project environment

A global Swiss Bank is looking for a Senior Business Analyst for a CDC (Client Data Confidentiality) program who analyses any business related processes that include banking, organizational, application- related and other operational processes and procedures and develops proposals for change or enhancement. This role would typically be found in a project environment.

Tasks

• Requirements analysis with business stakeholders.
• Impact analysis of Change Requests to the overall system. Supporting the release rollouts.
• Defining design in collaboration with the architects’ incl. technical specifications.
• User and process documentation.
• Managing the other Business Analysts in the CDC program.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in business analysis and requirements engineering.
• Experience in documenting requirements using Use Cases, Entity Relationship Diagrams, Process Decomposition Diagrams and Workflows (UML).
• Experience in interfacing with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Facilitating requirements work sessions and writing detailed Business Requirements.
• Experience in the financial industry (banking processes front-to-back).
• Excellent knowledge in using Microsoft Office products.
• Project management skills in a financial industry / banking / risk/ finance environment (SDLC / RUP experience).
• Experience in the IT Security environment:
o Data Leakage Prevention
o Digital Rights
o Information classification
• Additional experience in Oracle SQL for querying and analysis would be beneficial.

Soft skills

• Aptitude for critical thinking and target-oriented problem resolution.
• Able to act as independent person and also as a team player.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a complex and sometimes international matrix structure.
• Good communication and presentation skills across different management levels.
• Strong analytical and communication skills (English required, German would be a plus)
