SAP Basis Administration, ECC, BI, SCM, GRC, Redwood Cronacle, Netweaver.We are currently seeking a SAP Basis Administrator to work in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
Please note that this role is due to start on the 1st May 2014.
For this role you will be responsible for the SAP system performance monitoring, analysis and technical support, SAP system administration and service improvement initiatives. Perform root cause analysis and provide advice to SAP Competence Centre functional colleagues and end users, recognizing opportunities for effective exploitation of our clients SAP platform.
Skills/ Experience & Knowledge:
- 5 years (+) SAP Basis administration & support experience, across ECC, BI, SCM, GRC and Solution Manager platforms.
- SAP implementation and management skills, including lifecycle management, configuration, and support.
- Ability to take an integrated view of technical problems, spanning different areas of knowledge.
- Innovation and creativity. Candidate must be able to challenge assumptions and think expansively.
- Strong team-based ethic and experience working in a global SAP support environment.
- Effective in communicating with colleagues in globally distributed SAP competence centre.
- Knowledge of Redwood Cronacle.
- ECC 6 & Enhancement Pack 6 experience desirable.
- BW 7 & BW Accelerator experience desirable.
- SAP Netweaver certification desirable.
- Knowledge of Revelations RevTrac (transport management system) desirable.
- Experience of working with outsourced hosting partners desirable.
- Experience with SAP security audits desirable.
- ABAP debugging skills desirable.
- Unix scripting skills desirable.
