EDI SOLUTION ARCHITECT - 9 MONTHS - SOUTH YORKSHIRE

EDI Solution Architect required for a 9 month contract with a well renowned global organisation based in South Yorkshire on a 9 month day rate contract.

This global organisation, require an experienced EDI Architect, to participate in diverse and challenging engagements at vendor EDI and client B2B.

The job responsibilities will vary based on the project scope and deliverables, and this will require someone who can adapt quickly to changing environments.

Skills and Experience:

* Biztalk and EDI/B2B implementation experience
* Proven track record in software development
* Biztalk 2009, Dynamics AX
* Strong development skills
* Excellent verbal communications and written documentation skills
* EDIFACT, web scripting languages (PHP, PERL, JSP), Java (desirable)

Responsibilities:

* Work with clients, vendors and development teams to identify business and technical requirements
* Develop strategies and architectures for EDI and B2B
* Perform network readiness and performance assessments
* Develop unified designs based on the latest Biztalk 2009
* Implement & support EDI/B2B solutions for clients based on industry best practices
* Provide knowledge transfer and detailed design/operational documentation to clients
* Provide quality assurance documentation review and peer review on projects
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams
* Develop, code review, and assist in project management of current EDI/B2B projects
