Senior Analyst - Risk - SAS - Stockport - £38kOur retail banking client currently require Risk Analysts' of a Senior level, experienced with utilising SAS for data analysis, to form part of their expanding secured lending division based in Stockport.
You will use your excellent working knowledge of SAS in being responsible for the provision of meaningful analysis and build/ develop appropriate strategies and models to identify profitable opportunities whilst mitigating against Risk.
Responsibilities
> Provide data analysis of Credit Risk Mortgage portfolio's to drive positive change and strategic decisions.
> Build and develop risk models and effective risk grades/ scores
> Prepare written reports and recommendations on the results of analysis carried out - keeping managers and Stakeholders fully informed of progress and timelines.
Personal Profile
> An excellent working knowledge of SAS and aptitude for data mining
> Excellent communication and reporting skills.
> A sound knowledge of retail Credit Risk and risk scoring techniques.
> A working knowledge of Mortgages will be advantageous.
The requirement for Senior Analysts' is immediate and has become available due to significant expansion within the organisation Mortgages division. Offering a salary up to £38,000 per annum (dependant on experience) + benefits package.
