A highly reputable digital agency in Dublin City Center is seeking passionate, dedicated, and committed front end developer to join their team on an initial 6 month contract with the strong possibility of an extension.The company work on high profile sites for clients' national and international working on exciting yet challenging web projects visible to a large number of people around the world.
You'll work on multiple projects, from concept phase through testing and launch, with a focus on delivering HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code to power great user experiences.
They work in an open, collaborative environment and seek developers who enjoy problem solving and straying outside the routine.
In this role you will collaborate with a team of highly skilled people, all with strong opinions about various technologies, frameworks and approaches. You will be able to articulate your ideas to your colleagues effectively and will take on board the ideas of others.
Qualifications
* A strong candidate will have 5+ years of professional web development experience.
* Experiencing developing consumer-facing websites, and a general passion for web development.
* Mastery of HTML and CSS, and a great understanding of cross-browser display issues
* Proficient in JavaScript and additional JavaScript frameworks, and other web technologies (Ajax, etc.)
* Understanding of version control techniques (Subversion, CVS, etc.)
* Up-to-date knowledge of latest trends in web application development
* Understanding of the Document Object Model (DOM) and DOM scripting techniques
Desired Experience
* Incorporate commitments, strategic objectives, and day-to-day tasks seamlessly.
* Effective communicator internally and externally.
* Have the ability to manage multiple projects at any given time.
* To be a leader and mentor to junior engineers.
* Strong portfolio of highly visual, data-sensitive projects
* Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people under pressure
