Role: IT Security AnalystRate: €400
Location: Dublin
Type: 3-6 month Contract
My client is a UK owned company based in Dublin City Centre. They are looking for an IT Security Analyst to join a highly skilled team and assist in the production/rollout of a new data protection system.
Day-to-day
- Encrypt data transmissions and erect firewalls to conceal confidential information as it is being transmitted and to keep out tainted digital transfers.
- Develop plans to safeguard computer files against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure and to meet emergency data processing needs.
- Review violations of computer security procedures and discuss procedures with violators to ensure violations are not repeated
Requirements:
5+ years of experience managing security systems
3+ years of experience in the following:
- Checkpoint Firewall, VPN and IDS/IPS
- Sophos anti-virus
- Message Labs anti-spam
- Websense
- LogRythm log management system
- Qualys vulnerability scanning system
- Linux OS / pure FTP
- CheckPoint, CCSP or similar security training or certification is required
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP protocol is required
Education:
Requires a minimum of Bachelors degree in a related field or foreign equivalent
