Splunk Analyst

ECS are looking to engage with experienced Splunk Analyst who has proven experience of providing Support and Management of large Splunk Environments.
With this role you will be accountable for:
- Implementing Splunk applications and releases as well as upgrades
- On boarding of infrastructure technologies' security events log to Splunk platform
- Supporting the infrastructure build for extended capacity
- Full responsibility of issues
- Performing capacity management
- Reporting and documenting
To be successful in this role you will have experience in:
- Unix/Linux
- Support and management of large Splunk environments
- Scripting (eg Perl/Shell, UNIX editor. Regular Expression)
- Understanding of web based technologies
- Understanding of information security
- Experience working in a structured environment, using a process framework such as ITIL
