ColdFusion Developer

Summary
This is a 6 month+ contract position working for a premier University inside the perimeter. The ColdFusion Developer will ensure customer satisfaction is met or exceeded in the support of Legacy services applications - designing, modifying, developing, writing and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Create, modify, and document existing ColdFusion web applications 
  • Providing life cycle support for the application against department SLAs
  • Liaison with the business stakeholders to understand business requirements
  • Participation in converting business requirements to functional and design specifications
  • Development and delivery of design specifications
  • Create, modify, and query relational databases

Qualifications

  • Advanced Cold Fusion development skills - Adobe CF 9 required
  • Advanced Javascript, CSS, HTML/DHTML skills
  • Advanced Database Development Skills (DB schema design, SQL, Stored procedures) - cross database (Oracle, MS SQL Server. MS Access) and cross server queries
  • Intermediate installation, configuration, tuning skills with Windows, IIS, JVM/JRE, and Linux
  • Intermediate skills with MS Access a big plus
  • Intermediate application data integration skills using technologies based in RPC, Web Services, Replication, and FTP against packaged enterprise software applications and Middleware
  • BS/BA in Computer Science, MIS or related field or experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
