Description
A leading medical device company, located in Minnesota, is in need of a Validation Engineer to support a remediation effort. The company specializes in developing innovative products which will increase patient care.The Validation Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
- Look at existing processes and perform a gap analysis to determine which processes need to be re-validated
- Close gaps by performing characterization and process development
- Perform attribute test method validations
- Execute validations of existing protocols
- Qualify visual inspections
- Work cross functionally with quality assurance, manufacturing and engineering
The Validation Engineer must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience working within the medical device industry in quality or validation
- Strong understanding of process and test method validation
- Ability develop, write and execute process validation protocols
- Ability to develop, write and execute test method validation protocols
- Ability to communicate across all levels of the business
- Team oriented
- Independent
