Summary
The Senior Java Engineer will problem solve using established expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures. Our client is looking for several energetic software engineers with excellent communication skills to join their development team. They have several product applications that specialize in the Human Resources industry. Our ideal candidate will have outstanding Web Services skills and experience using multiple methodologies. You need to welcome accountability, be goal oriented and enjoy working in a team environment. You may report to a Manager or an Executive depending on the project you are currently supporting. The position will have six (6) month renewable contracts and should last 18 months plus. Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of designing and developing commercial product for this Human Resources product
- Designing, implementing and maintaining applications and services
- Covering your code with automated unit and functional tests
- Coordinate work teams
- Provide technical support to project team members
- Rely on extensive experience and successful judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Related Field
- 5+ Years' experience developing with Java
- Strong OO design and development skills
- 3+ Years of Web Services
- EJB3 and Hibernate framework is a plus
