Description
Quality Assurance InspectorPrimary Function: Inspects molded, manufactured and packaged materials and determines the acceptability/rejectability based on established requirements.
Reporting Relationship: Reports to the Supervisor - Quality Assurance
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Dispositions product using Defective Material Report (DMR) and FileMaker. Insures that only acceptable product is used without the use of an Rework Deviation Notice (RDN).
- Performs limited or full First Article Inspections (FAI's).
- Performs internal process audits, recording findings in FileMaker database.
- Performs additional tasks as required.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent; or combination of education and experience.
- One to three years' experience in a manufacturing or packaged products environment and exposure to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO 9001environment preferred.
- This is an entry level Quality Assurance position.
