Embedded Engineer - Medical Devices - BristolMy client is in the process of improving an existing Medical Imaging product ready for mass release next year. They are looking to recruit two Engineers into the team to work alongside their existing R&D function, commencing from the middle of April 2014. They have already secured funding to grow the team by this amount on a contract basis for the duration of the project which is expected to last 12-18 months. We have been asked to find an Embedded Engineer and an Electronics Engineer with a particular set of skills on their behalf - the below requirements are for the Embedded Engineer:- Embedded C & C++ coding on a Windows and Linux platform. Some VxWorks experience would be a bonus, but isn't essential
- Hands on experience with PIC and/or ARM chips
- Experience of working with Imaging products, for example, MRI machines and their software
- Experience of coding to Safety Critical standards, ideally Medical, but we would look at Automotive and Aerospace as well
