Description
NHS Junior SQL Server developer required - 6 Months, LancashireNHS Junior SQL Server developer is required for 3-4 months in Lancashire for a large Acute Trust. The role has arisen due to an expansion in the business intelligence team due to exciting new projects. You will be responsible for the day to day performance tuning of the database as well as development of SSIS/ETL processes.
Type: 6 Month (initial - possibility to extend)
Rate: £150 to £250 per day - DOE
Location: Lancashire
Start Date: Mid April
Essential
- SQL Server experience
- Data warehousing and ETL
- SSIS and DTS
- T-SQL (Transact SQL) Stored Procedures and Triggers
- SQL Profiling/debugging tools experience
- Previous Acute Experience
Desirable
- Previous exposure to Qlikview
Job description
- Maintain and enhance the existing data warehouse, exports, and reports
- Ensure information developments are achievable and the reporting outputs are delivered
- Troubleshooting SQL and Business intelligence tools, systems
- Performance-tune these applications as necessary
- Everyday development of data warehouses
