Description
Summary:The Material Manager will have responsibility for material production support of company's implants, disposables and instrument sets. The individual should be highly motivated, hands-on, with proven ability to execute multiple operations functions including:
Essential Functions:
-Material Planning
-Material Purchasing
-Shipping/Receiving
-Inventor/stores
-Reporting to the Director of Operations
Requirements:
-Must be hands on with Daily Production
-5+ years material planning and scheduling
-5+ years in Medical Device Industry
-3+ years working in Medical Device Start Up
-Very strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems, purchasing controls, shipping, and receiving functions in a medical device environment
-May supervise material coordinators or buyers
-Strong skills in MS Word and Excel
-Preferred experience in MRP systems such as QAD, SAP, or equivalent
-Advanced communication skills: written, verbal, and presentation
-Creative thinker and self-starter
