Description
The Clinical Project Manager (CPM) is responsible for the planning and execution of clinical projects while adhering to budget, scope and schedule requirements. This position will support the department with the execution of a clinical trial or suite of clinical trials from protocol design to the final clinical study report.Essential Duties:
- Review project proposals/plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects.
- Confers with Clinical Management and the Clinical Trial Manager to outline work plan and to assign duties as directed, responsibilities and scope of authority.
- Supports cross-functional project/program and ensures that the members of the project team meet critical path assignments.
- CRO/vendor management; contract negotiation and budget allocation
Requirements:
- B.S. in scientific discipline
- 6+ years of clinical trial experience in the diagnostics or medical device industry
- 2+ years experience of clinical management with direct reports
- Preferred therapeutic indications: cardiovascular, infectious disease, oncology
- International clinical trial experience
- Travel: up to 20% during occasional peak periods
- Certificate in Project Management is desirable
