Senior Windows System Administrator is required to join a one of the UK's fastest growing Insurance companies based in the City of London.
Key Responsibility of Senior Windows System Administrator:
- Windows System Administration including:
- Design, Implementation, Operation, Support
- Maintain competence and personal development
- Take key decisions in respect of the impact of the fault/change on users and the existing infrastructure
- General 2nd/3rd line support
- Lifecycle management and upgrades to the core network infrastructure
- Maintain device software versions and configurations according to standards and policies
Essential Experience of Senior Windows System Administrator:
- Very strong understanding of network platforms such as:
- Windows Server 2008 (Windows 2012 would be advantageous)
- Active Directory
- Virtualisation
- Past experience in desktop support
- Working knowledge of LAN/WAN protocols & technologies
- Experience in Banking & Finance or a similar high pressure environment
- Experience of enterprise level wireless technologies
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Team player who is able to work alone or as part of the wider Infrastructure team
- Motivated and enthusiastic about new technologies
Salary - Up to £50,000 + Benefits
