Description
COGNOS BI developer is required within a prestigious investment banking client of mine based in London.As the Cognos BI Developer this will be a very important role which will require a strong Cognos BI V10 developer with experience in ETL development and KPI reporting to come on board this growing team. The team is looking after multi dimensional databases such as Oracle and SQL Server so these additional skill sets would be beneficial.
The role will be to produce reports to a high standard in line with their cuyrrent suite of published reports and to work with the team to translate business requirements in to report specifications.
The project is fairly specific and they require someone who is very strong in Cognos BI Development has and understanding of cognos data manager/Datastage to a high level along with report studio.
As the Cognos BI developer you will be key to ensuring the data migration is quality assured and documented. This is a role which will require a self starter and someone who is able to face off to the business.
This is a 6 month rolling contract at rates between £400 - £450pd.
Essential Skills:
- Cognos BI Development V10
- Previous ETL development using Cognos Data Manager/Datastage
- Strong report studio or framework manager experience
- Investment banking is a mandatory requirement
