A Senior Software Engineer is required to meet the demand for a range of future Projects for the design and development of defence systems for land and sea applications, including Command and Control Systems, Data Distribution Systems, Weapon Interface Equipment and Electro-optical Surveillance Systems.
Working in the Aerospace and Defence industry the successful candidate must be Security Cleared / Clearable.

With responsibilities for managing and conducting Software Engineering activities throughout the complete lifecycle of a project, the Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for Software development, managing development throughout the system lifecycle and developing Software Development Plans.

The successful candidate will have the following capabilities:

Strong C++ software development in the defence industry or other relevant environment.

Embedded software development for semi-real time application using QNX or Linux

Familiarity with the whole software lifecycle

Degree in a relevant subject (Computer Science or Engineering)

Desirable skills include:

Rhapsody (UML)

Experience Debugging at an embedded level

DOORS
