Description
As the Regulatory Manager reporting into the Head of RA, you will be the expert of your portfolio, and will manage the external influence directly through involvement in trade associations and indirectly through leadership of the internal regulatory team.Key Responsibilities:
- Must have strong cosmetic or OTC experience
- Ensure all cosmetic products are enabled for sale across international markets
- Develop robust regulatory process to ensure all products are compliant with market requirements
- Provide guidance to the brand and development teams for NPD meet the regulatory requirements
- Lead and mentor the team (must have management experience)
- Work collaboratively with safety and quality teams to ensure a robust product lifecycle management system
- Fluency in written/spoken English is essential
The ideal candidate will hold a relevant medical or scientific degree; have a minimum of 4 years regulatory affairs experience in cosmetics/OTC. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Excellent interpersonal skills are fundamental too - you will be liaising with senior business leaders, development teams, marketing, legal, and regulatory affairs experts, so you will need to communicate effectively and clearly in order to be effective across a culturally diverse organisation.
