Position starts mid-April for few months-could be more - preferable onsite in Philly
eCity Interactive, a leading interactive agency in the heart of Center City Philadelphia seeks a Web Developer to assist in the development of exciting multimedia web applications. This individual will be a member of a team that includes designers, information architects, and quality assurance testers. This position will be responsible for coding, debugging, documenting and supporting existing sites with established specifications and business requirements.Skills Required
- 3+ years experience developing web applications (ASP.NET and LAMP)
- Understands the principles of object oriented design and design patterns
- Strong knowledge and experience with HTML, Java, CSS, XML, Web Services and AJAX
- Strong working knowledge of MS SQL Sever, SQL programming, stored procedures, and database schema design principals
- Demonstrated understanding of web design principles and issues (usability, browser compatibility, performance, color, etc)
- Experience installing and configuring web application servers
- Effective communication skills required
- Ability to write technical documentation
- Solid design skills preferred- In most cases you will be provided designs but may be asked to apply the design to additional pages or create a design.
