A top financial firm is looking for a Credit & E-Trading Application Support Analyst in New York City. This position will start as a 10+ month contract position, that will extend or turn full time after the initial contract.Position: Credit & E-Trading Support Analyst

Day-to-day Responsibilities:
* The role is to provide 1st line technical support to the Fixed Income Credit and eTrading desks.
* The role will require the management of all aspects of the Global Credit and IRG systems for Fixed Income Electronic Markets IT, working closely with all the support and development teams across the regions to continue to build a market leading support organisation for FI IT.
* Ensure root cause analysis is undertaken for all incidents.
* Improving the monitoring and support systems by doing scripts to automate the support and writing specification for monitoring and support team that will be transferred to the development.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required:
* Must have driven, enthusiasm and be committed to work. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and be able to use own initiative. They also need to be a strong team player. The ability to deliver results quickly and under pressure is essential.
* We are looking for someone who is analytical and able to solve complex problems.
* The successful candidate will be expected to multi-task and to be able to prioritise work. Good time management and co-ordination skills are essential
