Front Office C# Analyst Developer - Greenfield Application - Investment Bank. Front office development team require a permanent C# Analyst/Developer to work on the development of a Greenfield WPF and WCF project. This development team sit at the forefront of the Fixed Income business, interacting closely with the business.

This high-profile project is closely aligned to the business strategy, and therefore it requires strong developers to ensure the tactical and strategic development meets the needs of the business. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on the latest, cutting-edge technologies, whilst liaising directly with the business on the development of this Greenfield application. The candidate will get an opportunity to develop their all-round technical expertise by working on the C# application server and WPF UI.

As well as being involved in the C# server and WPF UI development, the role involves development on the Microsoft Analysis Services cube and SQL Server Database. Furthermore, the role will offer the successful candidate the chance to broaden their business knowledge by working with various trading desks and Fixed Income Research.

Skills Required:
  • Multithreaded, server-side C# Development
  • UI Development - Preferably WPF, but Winforms is acceptable
  • SQL Server
  • Financial experience is essential - Preferably experience working in Interest Rate Risk


The successful candidate will have worked on the development of high-performance, multithreaded server side C# applications, combined with UI development in WPF or Winforms. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop WPF experience, whilst gaining knowledge of a broad range of financial products.
