Data Scientist - 3/6 month contract - London - £550/£700 per dayA great opportunity has just come available for a Data Scientist to join an exciting company in central London on a contract basis for between 3-6 months with a high possibility for extensions.
We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to unearth the value behind the existing data and be able to relay this back to the business. You must understand not only how to extract the importance of the data, but also how it will impact across the business and what implications it will have.
The correct candidate must have:
- Exceptional Stakeholder management and communication skills
- Expert with SAS, SAS Base, Propensity Models and SPSS
- Expert with SQL scripting
- Extensive work with statistical modelling
- A proven track record within this area
Desirable skills also include:
- Experience with Big Data tools, Hadoop, PIG, HIVE etc
- Scripting experience with Python, Java, C# or C++
- A Mathematical or Scientific Degree is highly desirable
