Description
The successful candidate will work inc ollaboration with the ICT Business Systems and Online Services staff to further configure an open source search prototype. There is a requirement to provide maintenance documentation and to work closely and harmoniously with staff.
Duties include:
- Configure advanced search using Searching on Lucenew/Replication (SoLRTM)including faceting, and develop example application.
- Further configure data enhancer and incorporate searching related documents, transcriptions and OCR content
- Trial natural language processing of data
- Identify any software, solution andd atabase integration issues
- Assist with user interface design concepts for search
The ideal candidate will have;
- Hands on experience with SoLR and Java including schemas, and security standards
- Experience with natural language processing tools and techniques
- Demonstrated experience of working with data models,SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with business-to-business data inter change
Please note for this position the candidates will be Australian Citizens with a minimum Baseline Security clearance.
