Energy Demand Analyst - Energy Consultancy, £40kMy client is one of the largest multinational Commodities Consultancies in the world and they are seeking an Energy Demand Analyst to join their expanding team to focus on the European Region.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for producing macroeconomic research, analysis and insight focusing on various commodity markets within Europe.
- You will provide written commentary and analysis looking in supply and demand fundamentals that may impact oil, gas, electricity and coal, nuclear and alternative energy markets.
- You will provide insight into fuel-specific demand outlooks in the short, medium and long term forecasting on how each of these fuel markets interact with one another.
- You will be required to understand the geopolitics how various countries within the European govern these markets and how of these various countries differ in Europe due to their different Energy policies.
You Will Need To Have
- At least a Masters Degree in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Political Science, or any other numerate / energy related subject.
- At least 2 / 3 years relevent experience of producing insight and analysis within the European energy / natural resources industry or similar.
- Knowledge of assessing inter-fuel markets within Europe would be desirable.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good Excel Ability.
