IT Project Manager -Midlands Based University - 400 p/d - 4 month contract

A prestigious university is seeking an experienced project manager with a proven track record of delivering large scale IT projects. The individual will be required to manage a number of business critical projects - implementing and upgrading IT systems across the university while reporting to senior stakeholders.

Projects include: Implementation of video storage system
Blackboard upgrade
People soft upgrade
Implementation of new ID card system
Implementation of learning content portal.

To be considered for this role the successful project manager will have:
Prince2 qualification.
Minimum 5 year experience of large IT projects
Exposure to full project life-cycle
Experience of IT systems implementation
Practice in managing projects across multiple departments.

Desirable - Previous Higher Education experience
Exposure to the tendering process

RATE: £400 per day

Location: Midland

Duration: 3 months
