A leading London based Financial Company is looking for a Senior Application/System Developer to join the existing development team, as they need to grow in order for them to meet their growth targets and continue to lead in the financial market.They are currently looking for a candidate with Pure .NET application written skills in C# (WCF,WPF) using MSSQL for relational data persistence
Role Description
Application/System Developer role will involve:
- Defining & implementing key elements of the CRE application architecture.
- Engineering CRE components to the highest standards in terms of coding accuracy, execution performance and maintainability.
- Gaining an overall understanding of the credit risk calculation process front-to-back.
- Designing effective and efficient interfaces to systems, applications, and databases.
- Ensuring effective knowledge transfer within the CRE team and across testing services and production support.
Candidate Skills & Competencies
- Experience of performing a hybrid analysis / programmer role in an Investment Banking environment.
- Able to consolidate the functional & non functionally requirements from a variety of source to define and build a technical solution that:
- Is wholly consistent with the defined application architecture
- Is consistent with the strategic direction for systems and business process
- Technical skills (either direct experience or demonstrable detailed understanding):
- Able to work within a dynamic team & business environment
- Able to communicate clearly (both verbally & written) and produce detailed technical design documentation
- Confident, good interpersonal skills, positive, can-do and proactive
- Team player - identifies the true goal and finds the best/most efficient way to get there.
