Security: BPSS (with Disclosure of Scotland)
Rate: £450-£540 per day
Our government client is currently recruiting for a Infrastructure Delivery Manager role based in Newcastle for 12 months initially.
The role will be to manage the overall infrastructure design using virtualised Servers, security infrastructure, networks, and you will work with suppliers and the in-house team to deliver a baseline system definition.
Baseline operational/system requirements;
Sizing model for the whole system;
Infrastructure Roadmap for all services and components;
Infrastructure Delivery Plan which delivers any changes as required.
Essential
Demonstrable and proven track record of managing large scale technical IT infrastructure programmes.
Excellent knowledge of Core Business Processes and experience of managing the delivery of large scale IT infrastructure programmes.
Experience of managing multi-supplier third party suppliers to deliver on time and within budget.
Knowledge of infrastructure with hands on delivery experience utilising similar technologies to those used on Universal Credit.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with senior staff and suppliers.
Knowledge of any of the following VMware, Red Hat Linux Servers, Oracle Databases, Informatica ETL, IBM WebSphere
