Functional Analyst - Investment & Advisory 6 months rolling contract up to 2 years Brussels, Belgium
The Client:-
A large scale consultancy (FTSE 500) is looking for Functional Analyst - Investment & Advisory to work on varies project in Brussels Belgium. We are looking for an experienced Senior Functional Analyst with broad experienced in investments and advisory domains.
You will be responsible to analyze the business requirements received from Business Analysts and is responsible for translating them into Functional Specifications towards the systems and other deliverables required to enable solution construction. The Functional Analyst creates and modifies business facing documentation including user manuals and solution briefs.
Responsibility of a Functional Analyst - Investment & Advisory specialist:
Complete and elaborate functional software design (high level design) in accordance with solution designed by solution architect and documentation of the same.
Analyse business requirements documentation received from Business Solutions
Formulate and create functional specification documentation, in close working with Business Analysts, Application Owners and Solution Architects.
Analyse technical project requirements documents received from Application Management, for functional impacts.
Define Test scenarios and test cases; execute and support testing
Supports testing on behalf of users, operations, and testing teams potentially including test plans, test cases, test-data and review of interface testing, between different applications, when required.
Work with application developers to resolve functional issues from UATs, and to help find solutions for various functional difficulty areas.

Experienced required Functional Analyst - Investment & Advisory specialist:
Minimum 4 years experience in a similar role
Relevant experience in IT Investments and Advisory domains
High analytical and technical capabilities
Experience in various environments (Mainframe/new technology) is a plus
Proven communication skills
Profound knowledge of methods and tools for functional specifications
Knowledge of technical aspects including middle wares
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Experience in testing
Experience in working with different Vendors (located locally and/or offshore)
Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Business, Economics or Computer Science (or equivalent Business Analysis certification and/or relevant work experience)
Fluent in English, French and/or Dutch
Technical background is a plus
Experience in multi projects
Rates:
up to €450/day for the right candidate
Contract length 6 months rolling contract up to 2 years
