Software Design Engineer opportunities within a world-leading semiconductor organisation, where you will be involved at all stages of specifying, designing, testing and integrating advanced software for use in world-leading products. Based in The Netherlands,these are long term contract opportunities developing high level software.Job Description:
* Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team where software is highly regarded within the organisation, software engineers are responsible for creating clear specifications and making efficient design choices in order to drive the design implementation.
* Software Engineers are facing several aspects of motion control, production control, data management and interface control. A vast code base is maintained and under strict configuration management to provide maximum commonality between different machine types.
Education:
Preferred is at Bachelor or Master level in Computer Science or Informatics or in Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering.
Experience
Must have experience:
* C/C++, Python, object oriented programming and Software Configuration Management (Clearcase)
* Experience in software development, preferably related to automated system, interfaces.
* Experience in the high tech industry and/or factory automation will be a strong advantage.
