Description
We're looking for a Front End Developer with a strong sense of design to work with our small team to help rebuild an enterprise business application for a financial services client.
Responsibilities
- Be a proactive self-starter who can offer solutions and take ownership over your work
- Interact with creative lead to understand scope of projects and help to set realistic goals and expectations
- Engage with internal team and client to define project specifications and tasks
- Deliver quality front-end, framework-driven interactions using best practice coding standards
- Evaluate wireframes and creative concepts for technical feasibility and completeness
Skills & Requirements
- Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON
- Deep experience working in a LAMP production environment
- Experience with MVC and/or MVVM patterned frameworks
- Expert in design production with an impeccable attention to pixel-perfect detail
- Working knowledge of cross-browser and platform consistencies/quirks
- Working knowledge of application level programming with Rails
- Experience building data-driven web applications
- Experience with version control systems
- Excellent communication skills

- Experience with complex financial systems
- Experience with business and charting platforms like Dojo, ExtJS
- IA/Wireframing experience
- Experience in backend development with Rails
- Understanding of Progressive Enhancement
